“Vinyl & Ethno on Kupala Night”: celebrations on the Duck’s Lake business embankment
Ivan Kupala Night is one of the oldest and most magical holidays in the Ukrainian tradition. This day, which symbolizes the birth of the summer sun and represents the unity of man with nature, is filled with mystical rituals, fortune-telling, songs and dances around the campfire. On this occasion, the Duck’s Lake business embankment has prepared a special celebration “Vinyl & Ethno on Kupala Night”, which promises an unforgettable experience for each of our guests. A rich program for adults and children awaits you on June 23 from 14:00 to 20:00.
A garage sale of books from the Old Lion Publishing House will take place from 12:00 to 18:00. The location will be decorated with bales of hay, and an authentic village cart will add a special flavor.
There will also be a giveaway of 500 kg of juicy apples and a raffle of 10 tickets to the ONUKA concert to be held on July 6 in the picturesque village of Hryniv.
Everyone will be able to discover the secrets of folk traditions, plunge into the magical world of ancient rituals and learn more about their history and significance.
A picnic by the lake with fun entertainment from Rebernia will be a great opportunity to spend time with friends and family. And for kids, the Lviv Science Museum organizes interesting and informative entertainment that will make the holiday unforgettable for our youngest visitors.
From 16:00 to 20:00, Gooch Brawn & Chain Bro will perform on stage with a unique mix of Ukrainian funk, ethnic and jazz on vinyl records. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy exquisite music and incredible views of the Duck’s Lake embankment.
The event will also feature photo and video shooting to capture the highlights of the event. The footage will later be used to create a promotional video.
In addition, visitors to the Duck’s Lake business promenade will have the opportunity to taste fish delicacies from Egersund Seafood, try new unusual ice cream flavors from Faini Liody and enjoy cotton candy from the Milk Cafe. In the Impero Group space, you will find a restaurant, a barbershop, and a men’s clothing store. Relax in the Kultura Rest lounge restaurant. You can update your wardrobe at Ultra Shop.
