CHILDREN’S DAY AT DUCK’S LAKE
International Children’s Day, which is celebrated annually on the first day of summer, has a special significance as one of the oldest international holidays.
his important day once again reminds us of the need to ensure decent living, educational and recreational conditions for children, and calls for their safety and protection from violence and exploitation.
The holiday was created by the decision of the Women’s International Democratic Federation to draw attention to the problems of observing children’s rights, including their right to life, freedom of thought and the opportunity to receive education. This date has become a catalyst for active actions aimed at protecting children’s rights and a reminder that each of us is responsible for the future of the next generations.
Duck’s Lake also does not stand aside from numerous initiatives dedicated to International Children’s Day. From 14:00 to 20:00, a number of events will take place on the business embankment to bring a little bit of happiness to the youngest Ukrainians who are so in need of good mood in these difficult times.
The event’s main partner is We Love Kids, a network of private kindergartens. The event is also supported by the Old Lion Publishing House, the Museum of Science, Asgard Investment Company, and the School of the Free and Caring.
The festive program is full of various interactive activities. Among them is the Duck Tales eco-education program, which will allow our young guests to immerse themselves in the world of nature and master the basic principles of environmental behavior. Our experts will be happy to share their valuable advice and tell us how to take care of our environment.
The events will cover a variety of areas, from creativity to scientific experiments. Participation in the educational workshops will help children explore new horizons and learn useful skills.
